Do you remember what superpower you wanted most as a child?
For me, it was always the invisibility cloak. Not because I wanted to disappear, but to observe. I wanted to be close enough to people to see them when they were completely themselves, to notice the little gestures, expressions and moments that happen naturally when nobody is performing for anyone. That is, in a way, how I want to photograph your wedding too.
Quietly present, but just visible enough when it is time to make a portrait and slow things down for a moment. Because your wedding is not a series of photographs, but a day you are inside of and I want to feel it with you.
If you ask me about my photographs, I would say they are as much about atmosphere as they are about capturing the decisive moment. It is the feeling of a room, the quiet energy between two people and their guests and the small, unguarded moments that unfold naturally when everyone is simply being themselves.
My wish is for you to live your wedding so fully that you forget I am there, while I quietly hold on to the things that matter to you most.
